Sound Advanced Topics II

Seth Cluett

This semester, Sound Advanced Topics II will address sound in the built and natural environment. Hands-on field recording, soundscape capture/creation/analysis, site-specific acoustic measurements, site-specific creative and scholarly interventions, and spatial audio capture and display will be covered in a way that will allow creative practitioners and scholars the latitude to discover their own path through the materials and apply the course content within their own work or within their own disciplinary frame. This is not a continuation of Sound Advanced Topics I and requires no technical prerequisite.
